Fashion has been running through my veins from an early age. My mother’s first fashion memories of me were my enthusiastic outfit planning sessions at age two! My love of fashion continued to grow and having graduated (with a diploma in fashion design) from the Grafton Academy I worked in the costume department for RTE.
I moved to Sydney for a change of scene and worked on publications such as Cosmopolitan, Harpers Bazaar, Cleo and Dolly magazines. Back in Ireland I expanded my experience, working with several large international retailers over ten years. After gaining valuable experience in retail buying I decided that I wanted to focus on styling and so studied to gain a diploma in professional styling. I continue to write about fashion and style for whatshewears.ie and have published articles in the independent.ie, giving style guidance and advice.
With my experience and training in fashion buying, styling and design along with my passion for helping people look good, I can really understand and cater to my clients’ individual needs.
It’s not about spending a fortune on a new wardrobe or having the perfect body, it’s about learning to understand how to make the best of the assets you have so that you can enjoy getting dressed again!

I will help you understand what body shape you are, what colours make you glow and what styles are best suited to you, your lifestyle and your budget…- We start off with a questionnaire that I email over to you – outlining details so I can determine your body type and colour type
- Firstly I will go through your body type in detail explaining all the styles that compliment and enhance your body type
- I will also give you hints and tips how to disguise problem areas and how to highlight your best assets
- I will then go through in detail your colour chart, showing you your colour swatches within this chart
- I will suggest the shops that you can visit to find the styles that suit you
- You will receive a colour copy of details of your body type and colours
- If you wish you can also purchase mini colour swatches to pop into your handbag!

Wardrobe Weeding
Before you panic and think this is only about clearing out your wardrobe and leaving you with a swinging hanger… it’s not!- I arrive at your house and you open the doors to your wardrobe!
- We will go through it in sections – skirts, dresses, trousers, shirts etc
- You will try on items and talk me through the story behind it, why you like or dislike them
- I will explain why it works or doesn’t work and what to wear with it – if it’s a keeper
- We separate your clothes into keepers, alterations and a charity pile
- This process will continue until we have got through all the items that you wanted to review in your wardrobe
- We will discuss your body type and the colours that suit your complexion
